Hi all. On May 1st I started overclocking my new PC build and after 72 hours running Orthos blend priority 7 with temps still well under max temps now what used to be superstable is not any longer. I am utterly confused as to how I got so stable and now I am not, how does this happen? The only thing that has been replaced or changed is I had to RMA my ram and I got a Fatal1ty soundcard upgrade.

Stable OC on Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi @3.6GHz 400x9
CPU Vcore:1.54v
Mem: 2.2v
NB Vcore:1.55v
FSB voltage:1.4v
PCI clock:Locked @33.33MHz
PCI-E:Locked @100MHz
Static Read Control: Disabled

a) The higher the overclock, the more it eats off from processors lifespan.

b) Dust etc crap can defect processor or make it run hotter (though temps wouldn't be too hot) -> try vacuuming your cooler.

I found out what was causing the instability. Resetting the Cmos did the trick, whenever replacing RAM even with the same you must reset the Cmos setting cause the memory companys change the SPD pre-program info in the modules. Ran Orthos for 24 hours with 0 errors.
