hi guys
i dont know if this has been posted before, but anyways, i wanted to share this good news, for atleast me. It is that Asus P5B Series can support 45nm processors, which are penryn. this means that p965 chipsets have the ability to run penryn. So i think other companies can also give support of penryn to their motherboards. Just wanted to share this news as i myself have ASUS P5B DELUXE.

though penryn is not written but as far as i know that only penryn will be 45nm for desktops, so in that case, penryn will be supported by our old chipsets, i.e p965.

i wanted to ask u one thing, i have heard this thing that, i wanted to confirm about this motherboard, if we have crossfired two vga cards (identical) with x16 and x4, then pci express x1 slot is disabled automatically. and if we crossfired it x16 and x2 then we can use the pci express x1 slot. Is this true?
