Hello all, im looking to get a pc power and cooling power supply but i dont know which one.

they have a couple versions of the 510w one of them is sli and the other asl
the sli has a 4 pin cpu power connector and the asl has a 8 pin
which one is for my mother board?? (asus m2n sli deluxe)
i wont be running sli, only one 8800 gts , will the 510 be enough power for that and a duel core cpu with 2 gigs of ram?

they also have a 610w psu which is eps12v, this version has both the 4 pin and 8 pin connector and i think they run larger then atx psu's. will this one fit in a mid tower case? specificly the silverstone tjo9.

i would go with the 610 right away but its kind of fishy to me that its cheaper then the 510 and also has a shorter warranty and ofcourse my concern of it being able to fit
what do you think? i wont be overclocking anything or upgrade for a few years. if the 510 is more reliable
(5 yr warranty) should i just go with that? (sli or asl)

The 510 is from their highend Turbo-Cool line and the 610 is from their economy Silencer line that's the reason for the price difference. That said the Silencer 750 is one of the best PSU's on the market and the 610 runs more efficiently than the 510 so don't be thrown off by the price difference.

Your motherboard has a 4 pin connector so you need to pick a PSU with a 4 pin (510 ASL has only an 8 pin). Either the 510 SLI or the Silencer 610 would be fine but the 610 would be the better choice.

Thank you. the warranty throws me off too the 610s 3 yr vs the 510s 5 yr warranty. makes me wonder is the 510 more reliable? if so and if its enough power do you think i should go with the 510, i wont be overclocking or upgrading for a bout 5yrs
and im not sure if the 610s larger eps12v design would fit in a mid tower.

but thank you for knockin out the asl now i hav to choose from the sli or 610 eps

Get the 510 sli.
It has much tighter voltage regulation, less ripple and a 5 year warranty due to using the best quality parts.
It has plenty of power for the components you have chosen.
