Installing programs on second hard drive? Raid?

I have two questions, I read somewhere that installing programs on the second hard drive allows the CPU to access it faster, is this true? Also I Raid 0 two of my drives, could I use a program like acronis to ghost both drives? Can I used two different drives in Raid? Thank in advance.

You can use two different drives in RAID 0 but you will get the capacity of the smaller drive and the higher capacity drive's additional space will be completely wasted.
Dunno about other questions.
