The board I have a Gigabyte Ds3 v3.3, it can handle up to 8gb. Right now what I have installed is dual channel 2x1gb Corsair ddr2 800 @5 timings. I was gonna get more since the fact is that when I have After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Outlook, and Firefox running there is only 47mb ram available. If I were to add 2 more sticks how much ram would show up in Xp Pro Sp2 32bit. And is it worth doing so? I need to figure out what it best for optimal results. Thanks in advance.

Have DQ6 Ver 1. I also hade two gigs of Corsair CL4. Bought a 2nd pair due to such a low price. Had no problem ( Had to up VDimm slightly and upped V FSB 0.01 V). Also Have XP pro - Showed 3.5 Gigs.
I think 3.6 is the Max you will see in XP (32 Bit). I think this is better route than 2 x 512's for three Gigs - Due to pricing + get an extra 1/2 Gigs.

Thanks a lot guys. I think this is what I will do then. Then it will be future proof for when I upgrade to Windows Vista Sp1. Thanks a lot again!
