I have an EVGA 680i SLI mobo and E6600 proc. I am currently overclocked to 3.2GHz and have Orthos running right now (its been going fine for the past 3.5 hours).

When I pull up SpeedFan I see some weird temperatures... SpeedFan indicates that CPU temp = 68C, Core0 temp = 57C and Core1 temp = 57C. NVMonitor is also showing CPU temp = 68C. CoreTemp is showing the cores both at 57C and it shows CPU as 85C (I've read somewhere that this isn't a reading, but its the maximum rated core temp for the CPU).

Now this isn't making sense to me from what I've read on these forums. I've read that the SpeedFan CPU temp is Tcase which should always be lower then either of the core temps. Why am I seeing the CPU value ~10C higher then either core temp?

Update:

I managed to find TAT as well. It is showing 57C for both cores with Orthos running. My guess is that the core temps are correct?
