My Comcast Motorola HD DVR frequently garbles the sound on analog stations
for the first 30 seconds after switching to the station after which it
starts to function normally. Usually the sound is chopped i.e. every other
word is missing. Occasionally it gets into the Alvin and the Chipmonks
mode where the pitch is up shifted. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm
wondering if it's the box or if they've got another defective firmware
release. The problem is strictly with analog stations, digital and HD
stations work fine.
