Hi Peeps,
Heres a weird one, wonder if anyone might be able to help as its puzzled me.
I overclocked my e4400 to 2.7ghz and worked fine, ran 3dMark2006 got 10400 was very pleased.
I then this morning went into the bios and upped the Vcore to 1.39 from 1.38 and OC the FSB from 270 to 280 to get that 2.8mark.
Windows booted, nice,
However when i loaded up 3dMark2006 it jurked and jolted like hell o.0 So i remember seeing this earlier when i was playing around went into the bios and checked the GFX PCI-e was set to 100mhz and not auto, it was already, balls.
So i lowered the overclock to 2.7ghz and the voltage, booted windows, ran 3dMark2006
It still jerked!! grrr. Could it be something todo with memory timings as i've set these on auto ??
My System:
Gigabyte GA-965p-DS3
E4400
2gb OCZ Platinum PC6400
BFG 8800 GTS 320mb OC2
OCZ GameXstream 600W PSU
160gb WD RE x2 (SATA Raid)
400gb WD (SATA)
latest nvidia gfx drivers
Thank you in advance!
Martin
