Anyone ever purchased one of these? Do they normally ship in two
halves that are assembled in the home?

Here is a quote from this web site

The set's split-cabinet design allows the cabinet to be divided for ease of
delivery and installation.

Mine was shipped as one unit.
It was fun when I got mine delivered. I ordered this unit mostly for it's
split-cabinet design, so I would be able to get it down my steep stairway to
my basement. When the guys got here, they took one look down the stairs and
said, "no way". It took me over half an hour to convince them that this
thing came apart, and we were able to move it down the stairs easily, and
re-assembly was a snap.
