In your honest opinions.. which one do you think would be better in the long run, especially for overclocking? Ill be putting in a e6750 inside one of these.

Ive always bought Asus, but their prices are quite high for their premium boards.

Mwave has the MSI board for like 161 right now with a $15 rebate, which take it down to 146 afterwards.

Just curious what your thoughts are on this, in case anyone has one of these boards.

Thanks

Never tried Asus but I have had good luck with MSI. Have had a P6N Platinim running for about 10 weeks with great results. Just finished a build with the P35 Platinum v1.1 and it is up and running with no issues (haven't started any overclocking on this board just yet). A couple of notes on the P35 Platinum, on a cold boot does a shut-down for about 4 seconds and then starts up just fine. Never had this happen with any other board but it doesn't seem to have any ill effects. Also, pay attention to the power connections to the board. This one has an additional molex connector (again, never seen this before).

Well, THG just reviewed the revised MSI p35 Platinum and I think they rated it higher than the GA both in normal use and in OC ability. Might be a different GA though. Check out their P35 motherboards and MSI p35 rev 1.1 articles in the motherboards section.
