Hi,

Can someone kindly advise as to which one (amongst ATI Radeon X1400 or nVidia 7300) is a better graphics card.

Though I hardly play games but and the vendor is offering me to choose between these 2 options. So I want to know which one should I go for. The difference in price is nominal and affordable.

Thanks.

Either card should play solitaire quite well.

If both options are the same price, definitely go with the ATI Radeon X1400. That card beats the 7300 by a decent margin in 3DMark 05/06. Word to the wise... NEITHER card excels at gaming. I have a laptop with the X1400 and it plays WoW just fine, but any current-gen games... you'll have to really turn down the settings to get anything remotely playable.
