I have 2 gig of Corsair XMS DDR2-800 ram on my Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz system.
I wish to run my RAM speed higher than CPU clock speeds without overlclocking any system components. I believe these motherboards allow this feature. I think I found the relevant menu item in the bios but I'm not sure exactly what the settings mean and ofcourse the manual does nothing to explain it and I couldn't be bothered contacting the traditonally slow replying and somwhat ignorant (in my experience) Asus support.
Anyone able to shed some light on these settings, it is currently disabled i.e. not on expert as indicated below. An explanation on the different settings and what they do and what would be safe for my system.
Again I just wish to run my Ram up to or close to it's maximum speed without affecting any other system compenents.
Cheers
