I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me. I want to upgrade my laptop cpu. I have run cpu-z and it tells me that I have a Celeron 500 mhz socket BGA2. I've done a hundred searches through google to try to find out if a PGA2 cpu will fit my laptop but can't find any info. I've found some cpu's on eBay but they are all PGA2. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellit Pro 4270.
thanks for your help.

your better off saving your $$$ and buy a new one

BGA means the processor is mounted (soldered) onto the motherboard.

You're not going to be able to replace it.
