I hope this question hasnt been asked too many times but here goes...
I bought an Asus P5N32-E SLI (Nvidia 680i chipset) in Dec of 2006 when the FSB speed was only 800mhz and they have now updated the bios to support the new Core 2 Duo 6850 which has a FSB of 1333mhz
My question is this, I went to Newegg.com to find some 1333 mhz ram but the only kind I can find at this speed is DDR3. Does my mobo support this? I want to buy the Core 2 Duo 6850 to replace my 6600 and upgrade the RAM with it to make sure I'm getting full speed out of the system. But Im a little confused on the whole DDR3 thing.
Any help would be most appreciated.
