Ok so far so good have it up to 2.5ghz on stock voltage running smooth in orthos for 2 hours. My question is about my heat. At idle Core Temp 0.95 reads core 0 at 47c and core 1 at 49c under full load after 10 mins it reads core 0 at 71c and core 1 at 71c. Now speed fan is reading my temps while ide at core 0 32c and core 1 at 34c under load it was reading 55c and 55c. How is that? Oh and tat will not work on my system for some reason. everytime I try to load it my computer bsods. Any help would be much appreciated.

i would trust core temp but i've had bad luck with that version. for some reason when i use it my computer blue screens. i use core temp version 0.94 and i trust what it tells me. i've also had bad luck with speedfan so i dont know how reliable that is, even tho its temps seem more reasonable. just to be safe i'd try other programs. also check what the bios says.

I have an e4400 w/ a Tuniq Tower on in.

IDLE at 2.4Ghz : TAT reads 45 core0 & 39 core1
Fanspeed read 28 c0 and 23 c1

100% TAT Load: TAT Reads 60/55
Fanspeed reads 47/43

I've heard Fanspeed is usually about 15 degrees off for c2d's and it shows it here too.
I would trust core temp.

BTW what stepping do you have? I have the
