about before tax
2,700 ish

Now i have windows XP and plan to use that.... no need to vista to slow down games and such, i can always dual boot install....

anything im forgetting? fans/heatsinks and crap dont cost that much so ill add them as needed.... and i wont be adding the sli till the prices drop a lot... maybe a year?... figure ill overclock and watercool it then also...questions are what do you think would be a problem bottleneck if any.... and how do the prices look at this store?...(microcenter as i live next to one).

other possibilities were , physics card, dedicated network card, faster ram, faster quad core processesor.... but they all seem not worth it bang for buck...i wanted to keep it about 3000 dollars... anyoen see a real need for these?

also is the 6850 dual core much better then quad core?... this will only be for gaming/regular use but other crap tends to run while gaming so i figure it cant hurt.. .especially going forward...
