Amd Dual Core 5200+ 2mb Cache AM2 Overclocking Problems

Hi there, I am having problems with overclocking the 5200+ 2Mb Cache Dual Core :(

I have the following system setup, I know a bit about overclocking dual cores but this motherboard is complicated lol.

My Specs:

AMD 5200+ X2 2MB Cache Socket AM2 @ 200 x 13.0 VCore set on Auto and reads 1.39V

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64

ASUS M2N32-Sli Deluxe Wireless Edition

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz GX22GB6400DC @ DDRII800 4-4-4-12-2T

8800GTS 320MB @ 650/950 (Any Higher Glitches)

Arctic Power 700W PSU (Really Good)

320GB and 500GB Sata Drives


Are these temperatures ok? This is idle but i have no idea about the 5200+ my old 3800+ use to be 40C average on idle i guess this is faster so its reasonably a good temp?

Idle Temperatures:

Motherboard 45 °C (113 °F)
CPU 44 °C (111 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 42 °C (108 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 44 °C (111 °F)
GPU 48 °C (118 °F)
GPU Diode 56 °C (133 °F)
GPU Memory 48 °C (118 °F)
GPU Ambient 46 °C (115 °F)

Anyone who has a similar setup tell me how to overclock on the M2N32-SLI Deluxe because there are soo many multipliers and speed settings that confuses me lol.

If you could tell me in steps if anyone has experience with this motherboard, its made for overclocking so hopfully am able to hit some good overclock!

  1. Hi there I have overclocked to 220 x 13.0 Vcore 1.44V and the temperature idles at 48C onload its at maximum of 60C seems ok. If i overclock anyhigher its stable but Prime95 gives errors then blue screens lol? Ive tried upping the Vcore the temperatures goto 65C on load but still cant get the stability?
  2. I have overclocked it with different motherboard and with this 200 x 16.0 Vcore 1.375V and Temp is 23C ;) If you cant do this in your bios do it with the program CrystalCPU it allows you to change multi and Voltage in Windows
