Hey Everyone,
I've been thinking about upgrading CPU on my system.
I have A Intel Core2 Duo E6600 to An intel Intel Core2 Quad Q6700 but there seems to be a problem with the quad and the Nvidia chipset 680i.
Has anyone attempted this with 680i chipset??And is it really worth upgrading??
Any info and feedback would be greatly recieved.
Cheers

I put together a new rig with that motherboard and Q6600 a couple of days ago - works perfectly out-of-the-box for me. I installed Vista ultimate 64bit and I'm very happy ;) As for Q6700 I don't know but shouldn't be to much of a difference if I were to guess.

edit: about it being worth it - depends on what you're going to use it for and how much money you have. Personally I would not upgrade if I already had E6600 - it's not outdated.
