Hello,

I bought an Antec Fusion case which comes with an Antec SU-430HT, PSU has been performing beautifully and now that I am looking to upgrade my Graphics Card I was wondering if it enough to supply a 8800 GTS 320 MB with enough juice.

All I could find was this:

High-efficiency 430 Watt
ATX12V v2.0 power supply
Universal input
Active PFC and high efficiency design

As I understand it I need a 12v rail with a rating of at least 30A to operate a card of that intensity. Any and all help is apreciated, wish they would just state the 12v rating!!!

System specs:

C2D E 6400
4 x 512 XMS2 800mhz ddr2 RAM
GeForce 7600GT :(
SoundBlaste X FI sound card.
2 x 500 gb WD 7200 rpm
1 x DRD RW drive

Thanks!!!

This one has 2 17amp rails and should work fine, but it doesnt seem to be the same as the one

Here is some more info i found.

Still not quite sure on the power of the psu?
You are going to have to look at the label on the side of the psu
to find the ampre rating.

You have a beautiful system dont cheap out on the PSU :(
Even if it did 'run' your pushing that little psu pretty hard.

Get something that you know has enough power, and is a good quality unit.

Here is a pic of what should be your psu power outputs.
look for this and confirm.

Sorry that is the 380watt version and it is rated at 28amps, which should be enough.
I would imagine your 430watt model should have the same amps or a little higher.

that pic i posted seems to small to read.

hanks for all the help, I will open my case up as soon as I get home and check if a rating is mentioned.

Thats a beautifully PSU but I can't afford it unfortunately, I barely have enough to throw at a half decent card and hopping my psu would do the job.

Thanks again for all the replies!
