1.9v memory in motherboard supports 1.8v

Hi there I have a GA-M55SLI-S4 (rev. 2.0) motherboard which supports 1.8v memory, however the DDR2 memry I have is 1.95v. The machine is having problems with speed and often freezes. Could the memory be the problem?

If your motherboard only supports 1.8v that is the problem, your ram isn't getting the 1.95v it needs to run properly. Have you checked that 1.8v is the max voltage you can give it in the BIOS?
