I have just tried to install a driver for a usb host controller i have recently bought. During this process it installed the driver and windows came up saying there was a problem. The System started to get slow and unresponsive. I then decided to do a clean install of windows. This works until i try to install anything. The first time windows starts its fine, but when i install anything, its becomes slow and unresponsive, often taking more than 10 seconds to move the mouse.
Has my hard drive finally had it? I have had it around 3 or 4 years and its connected via a ide cable alongside another hard drive.
