which is better for vista? 8800 gts or 2900xt?

The title really speaks for itself, but this is just out of curiosity as I might find the information useful (you never do know I mean for all I know you might be eating your own hair and saying "zzznip doobar fruhstuck", I wouldn't know) (ignore whats in the brackets i needed an outlet for randomness)

it doesnt matter when it comes to vista as vista has no preference. its your decision. which do you prefer or want. what drivers are you more comfortable with Nvidia Console or Catalyst. if your looking for which performs better, check out the VGA charts comparing the 2 together.

According to a PC Gamer review of Falcon-NW high end build.
Two 2900XT's "the 12' long versions" beatout the mighty 8800 GTX in SLI
They say for now Vista seems to favor ATI

Yep ATI is better in Vista. 2900xt benches in Vista almost alwyas beat 8800GTS's.


Thats just in Vista mind you. And it may change sometime.
