7900gs temp

Hello, I signed up for these forums last month and everyone seems to be very helpful on here so thanks! I currenty have a evga 7900gs overclocked to 565/1620. At full load, the card runs around 60C which is acceptable i guess. If i wanted to overclock it even more, how high can the temp go before i have to worry?

i have a 7900gt factory overclocked. it runs at 520core and 1.5ghz memory which is kinda close to what yours currently is. I have a Zalman sumthing on mine, cant remember last bit 9jsut a giant fan) and it idles at 33C and full load is no more then 45C. what cooling do you have? 60C at full load is ok i guess for an overclock that high for such a card but i probably wouldn't push it any higher.

Have a look on the Nvidia control panel, but if its like a 7900GT then you are barely warming it up!

You should look at the nvidia panel to see where the threshold is. But I think you are fine my 6800gt was running at 100C. Probably at over 100C it would begin to trottle down and the threshold for that card is 134C. But yours is a completly different chip.
