Hi
I'm currently running 158.24 on my vista laptop and yesterday I downloaded 162.22 driver update. My problem is that the install wizard keeps saying that I don't have vista 32 bit running on my machine and aborts the install.

Can anyone help to solve this!!

Ive seen this before, check the forums history, may be the same problem, and hopefully itll have the same answer

Hello
I do not know even in this way your problem will be solved or not , but have you ever uninstalled the previous version of your driver. I think it will help if you try some extra programs such as "Driver Cleaner Pro" and after uninstalling the previous version restart your PC and try to install the new driver again.

Latest update is that I contacted Nvidia support and they replied with the advice that I should disable my virus checker and then start my machine in safe mode. I tried this and got the same message 'Vista 32 bit is not the operating system on this machine. Installation will be terminated'.
I contacted Nvidia support again and they have escalated it to level 2 support. So now I'm just waiting.
