Help about CPU power.

Okay, i have an AMD Zambezi 6 core cpu. Blah blah blah. My question is, The cpu is 95 watts. It works with one 4 pin cpu power connector. Can i plug in both 4 pins my PSU has, into my mobo without shorting anything out. I just want to plug in all 8 pins maybe for the extra power or whatever.

If your motherboard has the full 8 pin 12V connector, then by all means, use it. It certainly won't hurt anything. The extra 4 pins are just there to provide extra power for things like OC'ing.

Yes, the 8 pin 12V ATX header on the board should always be fed with an 8 pin or 4/4 pin PSU connector.
