Anyone else seen this? It looks like they are trying to do a full conversion of DX10 to XP. They also have a download for the Pre-Alpha that they "claim" will run Halo 2 and Shadow Run....anyone tried this???

It's too bad Shadow Run and Halo 2 run under Direct X9 natively.

It's not really important anymore that, nvidia vista drivers are already on par with XP drivers performance wise, so all that is left is for vista to actually fulfill their promises and give us a performance BOOST. That was important maybe a month or two ago, when XP had superior performance over vista, not anymore.

But even though those games run dx9, wouldn't you rather play the dx10 version without shelling out the Vista dough?

They wont run in DX10 at all...there is no DX10 version of the games! DX10 is not the reason for them being released on Vista only...but yes I would prefer to play a DX10 version of those games! lol

I'm already running on Vista 64. But it was given to me by a relative :) So I'm cool either way.
