That looks like a good system, won't go far wrong with it!
Don't know where u are, but it might be worth checking the 6850 price as well. Someotimes it's not too much more to get the next cpu up.

Hi Tato999,

Would suggest going with thes ram instead, they use the Micron D9 memory chip modules.

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
Cas Latency 4 $124.99 ($79.99 after $45.00 Mail-In Rebate)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146565

Plus I see you did not list DVD R/W drive. Either of these will be a good buy if you need one.
Sony NEC Optiarc 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model AD-7170S-0B - OEM $31.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827152079

Or this one from Asus.
ASUS 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe & 14X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model DRW-1814BLT- Retail $33.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827135146

Plus you know that the Western Digital Caviar 250GB SATA Hard Drive 16 MB Cache ( WD2500KS ) uses the 3.0gb compared to your old Seagate ( is it eide or sata) and the new HD will run at lowest interface speed, be it eide or 1.5gb.

I prefer the Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3250620AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM $67.99 for 2 reasons. First it has a 5 year warranty compared to WD 1yr and secondly it uses the new Perpendicular recording technology for maximum drive capacity and reliability. Which more HD manufacturers are going to now in the coming months.

Plus onboard sound has come along way in last couple of years, but if you want to add a Sound Card, my suggestion would be this one from Bluegears (which I bought 3 for builds I have done).
bluegears b-Enspirer 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card - Retail $94.99

Also put link in for BGears, in case you are going with Windows Vista, so you can get the drivers for card if you decide to buy it.

Hope this helped you out.
