Itunes on pc

I have a stubborn piece in my iTunes library that won't delete. Every time I start up iTunes, I get a message telling me that this piece in TV Shows ran into an error and can't load. There is a snippet of the program which I have viewed. Here's what I tried on my XP pc Firefox for most things system.
I have marked it delete in edit tab
used right click delete
marked it as viewed and doing the above
select all and delete
It won't budge. Do I need to uninstall all of iTunes then reinstall or is there another option? Thanks.

Exit out of itunes completely. Go to the folder where the file is stored, and then try deleting it.


Thanks for the speedy reply. I removed it from the file and reopened iTunes. There it it was trying to reload again. The difference this time was the load was successful; I could play it through to the end and then delete it. Success. You helped me tremendously. Glad I don't have to reinstall iTunes and all the other associated programs.
