Ok, last question about dual 1680's thru PCI.

OK, I've posted too many times about my PCI Dual 1680 issues...
So this is my last question. This card...

Since it is dual VGA, with a max res of 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz (Analog), does that mean I can run dual 22's and 1680x1050? I don't need anything fancy, this is all for a DAW. Nothing else. I appreciate all help. Thank you!

  1. For just that, yeah sure, the FX5200 would be fine. If you were doing any serious 2D or 3D work with it where colour correctness and such was required, then I'd say definitely get something better than that, but for what you're using it for it'll be fine. Heck you'd almost be fine with 256 colour, so the shortcomings of the FX5200 won't matter much.
