hello

i just buy new hard disk brand seagate 250gib . When i want to format it .It just detect 131gib only. can anyone help me about it ?

download and install sp2, go into disk management (right click on "my computer" and select manage), partition and format the rest of the disk.

How old is your system? Because some of the older motherboards can't see/use the full size of the new larger hard drives. If that is the case a bois update might do the trick

also could be bad hd cgate is not bad but is known to have errors in production
