Hey, me and my friend are putting together a new machine and need some help deciding on the parts. We are thinking about:

- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Dual Core Processor (2.4GHz, 4MB, 1066MHz FSB, LGA 775 - MPN: BX80557E6600)

- We are having trouble deciding on the motherboard. We were thinking either
- Asus P5K http://stores.tomshardware.com/sea [...] search=p5k
- Asus P5K Deluxe http://stores.tomshardware.com/sea [...] search=p5k
- Asus P5B Deluxe http://stores.tomshardware.com/sea [...] search=p5b
- Or any other suggestion you may have, our price range for the motherboard is $150 -180

- We have pretty much everything else we need.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Screw asus, the GA-P35-DS3R is the best P35 mobo without DDR3 support, and it's only $129.99 on newegg (The GA-P35C-DS3R has DDR2 & DDR3 support).

EDIT: I'd go for a board without DDR3 support for now, DDR3 won't really become mainstream for at least 18 months.
EDIT#2: Was about to say too, go with either the E6550 or E6750.
