Hey guys, someone help me please. I can't find anyone to figure this out for me. I have a Dell Dimension 8400 that had a 6800GTO Vido card. PCI Express. I took the card out and replaced it with a 6800GS PCI Express. Now when the system boots up it keeps telling me there is a hardware configuration change. Hit F1 to continue or F2 to go to BIOS. The BIOS has been updated to the latest verison. The only thing in the BIOS for Video is PCI or PCI Express. It is currently on PCI express and I have tried putting it to PCI / save/exit come back in change it etc. Everytime this F1 option comes back up. I can't figure out what it is. Addtionally because it's doing this my DVD and CD ROM is not loading up. Anyone have any ideas?

No there is no on board Vid card...

Thanks!

What happens when you hit F1?

This issue turned out to be that the cable to the DVD/CD Rom came loose while changing out the video card. I opened the box up to trouble shoot and saw it cocked. I pushed it back on and F1 went away and everything is good.
