only 1 gig on msi neo4?

I was currently running an athlon 64 3000+ with 1.5 gigs of ram on a msi Kn8 neo4 just fine. I just upgraded to an amd 64 4000+. After the upgrade, windows xp can only detect 1 gig of ram, no matter which slots I put the ram in. Thanks for the help.

Which version of the mobo? I have 2 gig running in dual channel on my k8n neo4 platinum (non-sli).
