I'm pretty satisfied with the price range it's at now ~$900. I'm not planning on doing any overclocking, just yet, though I might consider it in a year or so. I'm going to be doing some moderate gaming on it, as well.

Do I need any cooling stuff, or will the stock fans do?

I'm probably also going to get a new monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers, so keep that in mind, too.

Any advice or suggestions? Have I overlooked anything? Thanks for your replies, I know you get a lot of threads like this one!

Ok.
Centurion 534 costs the same but has better airflow than the 5 in my opinion.
If you can't afford the $260 8800 GTS 320MB, X1950XT is the card to get for $150, paying $190 for PRO is not a good choice.

Pay an extra $10 for Xclio Goodpower 500W, it is a very reliable, very well built PSU and can hardly be beat at $49.99 mark.

E6600 is not worth getting. Get E6750 for $208 from directron.com instead.

You can get better brand ram for almost twice less than that (considering the rebate)
This Crucial 2GB kit is one heck of deal for $75:

With the money saved getting an 8800 GTS would give you the most improvement, especially if you like gaming, if not, money can be put towards a Q6600.

Good luck.
