Aight, well I've got most everything picked out, but am on the fence on the last parts...

1.) CPU: E6850 or Q6600?

I most likely won't be overclocking.

2.) Vista 32-bit or 64-bit?

I'm going to take the Vista plunge at first (I have a full retail copy. We'll see how it goes...if it gives me issues, I have XP). I'm swaying towards 64 bit because I'll have 4gb of RAM, but don't I need a 64-bit processor for it???

Thanks for any input

*edit* I figured out the 64-bit part of it (whether I need a 64-bit processor)...noticed the support for iton both processors. Still would like to see views on the 2 processors.

If you won't be overclocking, take a look at this table and see which titles you use more, make a decision based on that.

I'd personally go Q6600 for sure, I don't see any reason to let 2 extra cores go, especially with future games Like Crysis, UT3 and programs fully utilizing 4 cores.

I also wouldn't touch Vista before Service Pack 1, but that's a personal preference I guess.

Good luck.
