I'm thinking of buying the Asus Blitz Formula for a new rig, and was hoping to get the OCZ DDR2 PC2-9600 FlexXLC RAM (http://www.ocztechnology.com/produ [...] lc_edition).

Saw this in Asus manual for the mobo:

Quote :

This chipset officially supports DDR2-800 MHz. With the ASUS Super
Memspeed Technology, this motherboard natively supports up to
DDR2-1066 MHz.

If you install a DDR2-1066 memory module, make sure that you set the
DRAM Frequency item in BIOS to [DDR2-1066MHz]. See section 4.4
Extreme Tweaker menu for details.

Does this mean the OCZ won't work, since it is 1150MHz? Or will it run at a slower speed?

Any help would be most appreciated - this is my first build, and I'm a newbie :D
