I posted this in the CPU Section but I havent gotten any reply so far, so i guess this is the right place for it.

Well as the title states i have an Intel E6600 with a Zalman heatsink and Arctic Silver 5.

Zalman - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118223

And here are my temps.

Now looking online and also seeing my friends temps with the Zalman and artic silver 5 usually get around 20c or at the very least like 30c.

Im trying to figure out why my cpu is at 44c? Both me and my friend have tried various applications of arctic silver 5 and it always ends up around 40-45c.

Right now i have the AS5 on the way it says on the AS5 manual.

Also, why exactly is the Aux at 127c?

It is not overclocked.

Zalman link is dead but i'm assuming a zalman that fits lga775 is either 9500 or 9700... possibilities Bad Case airflow? Bad fan on delivery? Try another temp reading program? 127c has to be an error in the program or bad part NOTHING in your computer should be over 100c
