Will a HD 2900XT fit inside a p182?

Well the title says it all. I have heard both that there is little room in the p182 and that the HDD fan has to be removed to fit an 8800GX isn't the HD 2900XT longer? I have also heard that there is plenty of room inside the case.

Anybody know the real deal? Will any of the two cards fit without rearanging the whole case?

PS: I would have chosen the TJ09 if I had had the money.

The 2900 is shorter than the GTX, more like the GTS in length. I think theres about an inch in difference in lengths

Alright that sounds promising, however do you have any idea if the AMD/ATI card will fit in the case. I really love the design of that case, it may be heavy, but I am looking for performance and looks, I am not taking it to a LAN party.

There is no HDD fan on the case that's optional. I just built my system last night in a P182 and used the lower HDD tray. I removed the upper and am using 2*Gtx's. Those fit as long as no HDD are in the upper cage. I have read that you can have 1 Gtx and 1 HDD, so as long as the 2900 is shorter it will fit.

Just another heads up if you have a large power supply with modular cables it can be a very big pain to fit. I have the Enermax infiniti 720W and it was a nightmare to fit. So be patient.

The Silverstone modular is an absolute nightmare as well.....

I actually swapped the Antec fan for one that didn't have the plastic mount, saving just enough to get it all in.

A really well built case though and nice and understated!

I thought the p182 was a revision of the p180 that allowed the newer longer cards to fit in it, might be wrong of coarse.

An hd2900 is the same length as an ATX motherboard, i think it is 1mm shorter. So if you motherboard fits then the card should. Just you might have to shift your hard drives around a bit.
