Need help with a raptor

I am installing a wd raptor, first time builder into my system. I was wondering if i need the legacy 4 pin connector for power, as well as the SATA power? I am confused. I bought the drive OEM, so i am not sure how to set it up.

Never connect BOTH power connectors!

Does it matter which power connect you use? Like if I wanted to save a Sata power connector and use the 4 pin, would there be any difference in performance? (I assume not)
