I have been using the Microsoft MN700 wireless router for quite sometime with no real problems; one Ethernet connected desktop (base unit for MN700) & 2 wireless laptops, all XP Home. Got a new wireless printer, Lexmark x6570. The install for the Lexmark will not connect wirelessly to the MN700, and Lexmark support says there is some kind of known incompatibility.

MN700 info: http://www.speedguide.net/broadband-view.php?hw=155

x6570 info: http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/product/home/739/0,6970,204816596_653293766_1113088739_en,00.html?tabId=1

As a side point, MS says the MN700 is compatible with both 32 bit & 64 bit versions of Vista.

Any ideas?

I ended up using the desktop as the print server, and have all the laptops set up to print through it. Works fine. So much for needing a wireless printer.....
