Converting back to basic from dynamic

If i convert my dynamic disk back to a basic can i innstall my os(Vista Ultimate) on it or will it just be good for storage?

if you convert back to basic you can do anything you want with it including installing Vista.

but to convert back you will need to delete your partion. so back it all up.
