What are shared dlls

what are shared dlls because i downloaded registry booster and it said i have 639 errors that were to do with shared dlls. It would really help me if i knew because i have something on my laptop called runtime error which always makes my laptop turn off and this could be the problem.

Dll's are library files acessed by various programs to perform certain functions and are best left alone. A dll can contain functions that several different programs may wish to use.
Registry programs are best left to experts to use, they can create more problems then they solve unless you know exactly what you are doing.
You can try system restore to a previous date if you have a restore point, or try Windows repair to solve your problem.
