If I remember correctly, my X1900XT 512 pulled 30A on the 12v. In crossfire, the draw was only 34A. I run a 750W PC Power and Cooling PSU that has 60A on the 12V

Thats cutting it close. Ideally, youd want 28-30 amps total (336-360) minimum .If it runs your system, you wont be making any upgrades without some serious power concerns. Id be careful, and if you could get a bigger psu, one large enough for future upgrades

Hi I own a Dell E520 with the psu rated at max 305watt. Any idea if it will support a ati x1950 xt video card? If not please suggest a good psu I can get to replace it. Thanks.

hi, personally i doubt it , i have a 480W one, and that wasnt enough for the x1950xt (which i planned on gettgin) i think the recommended minimum was 450W, if im not mistaken. and i think it was 36Amps total on the rails.

guys just check your power supply. open your case up and on the side it will tell you how many amps. Make sure if you have 2 12 volt rails add them to find total amps what your power supply can handle.

ATI recommends that you have 30amps on a fully loaded system.

What you meant to say was that your SYSTEM pulled 30A on the 12v. Your x1900xt won't ever use more than 12A by itself.
