Hello, This is Deepak,

i am using VM ware in my pc.

i have installed windows server 2008 and windows 7 os's in the virtual machine.

i have to make windows server 2008 as a server and i didnot installed Active Directory. and windows server as a client.

The question is how to make communicate the two os's in the virtual machine.

Just ensure that the network cards in the VMs are set up to use Bridged mode. They will then appear as separate computers on your network and will need separate IP addresses (or will pick up separate ones if using DHCP). From then on you just set them up as if they were separate physical computers.

Your firewall could be interfering with the communication. What is your Host OS?

as a side note, I prefer virtualbox over vmware.
