Hi, I am planning on buying a new PC soon, and I was looking at after-market cooling options for the cpu and VGA. I was planning on getting an 8800 Ultra, and wasn't really seeing any options for cooling on the website I plan to order from. Then today I see the article on this site about Thermalright's HR-03 Plus being used on 8800's. The article says 8800's many times but never specifies only working on a GTX version (unless I missed it). The description of the product on the website I plan to order from says "Compatible with Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX video cards only."

So am I to assume it won't fit on an 8800 Ultra? If not, can anyone recommend an after-market cooling option other than water for an 8800 Ultra?

Anything that fits the GTX will fit the Ultra aswell. The cards are bascially the same but the Ultra is clocked at higher speeds. As for aftermarket cooling solutions I can't really comment since my cards have still have their stock coolers.
