Looking for a good power supply unit for the Antec P180 case for $80 or less.

PC components:
Intel Duo E6750
Gigabyte P35-DS3R
2GB Corsair RAM DDR2 800
BFE GeForce 7900
(1) 40 GIG SATA HD
(2) 250 GIG SATA HD

Saw the Enermax EG565P-VE FMA 535W Power Supply for $77 total. Does anyone know if this is a good one?

Thank you.

Nice Find SEALBoy. 50 bones after rebate. This would work with the P180 case by Antec you think?
Thermaltake better than Enermax?

Thanks.

Shawn,
I'd pick the Thermaltake over the Enermax, but if it was me, I'd do my best to scrape a few more $'s together and see if you can get into something around 100+. Like a Silverstone or the Seasonic S12. I know 150 is near double your starting price, but the PCP&C Silencer 610 would just love to get into your P180. It's long, but will fit. I have the 750quad and with proper cable routing I still use the lower antec fan. To me a new P35 board and E6750 warrant a PSU of equal spec. At least on my rating scale.

edit - Mushkin over the Thermaltake - better specs and warranty. Nice find jtt283

All of the suggestions have been good ones. I balked when i saw the mushkin recommendation but I looked it up and it turns out to be a decent psu. Of the three I would get the Mushkin. Surprisingly, to me anyways, its actually a tier T psu and the others you mentioned are tier 3 (tier T is right in between 2 and 3, its not as good as two, but better enough that it isnt tier 3).

Seems like the Mushkin is the winner. Press the buy button now.

Take a look at this list to edumacate yourself on the subject via list.

wow my corsair was 100, and yes if its that low, holy crap is that a good psu, its never failed me in every ocing situation. best in the business. with today's top line graphics, it may not have enough juice, but for a 7900 its more than enough with like 30+a on the combined 12v rails.
