Audigy ZS Distorting Music

My Audigy ZS will play one mp3 file and the next one played is distorted. Onboard audio is disabled in the BIOS and all drivers are up to date. Onboard audio works fine, which I'm listening to know, a little Zydeco, after uninstalling the Creative drivers and software. Cards out of warranty so no RMA. Running an ASUS A8N-SLI Premier, AMD X2 4200, and 2GB Crucial RAM. It's definitely the card given absolutely no problems when using the onboard audio. Any ideas? Thanks

Assuming that this isn't a hardware problem, you might try an alternate driver for your Audigy 2 ZS.
