37" Magnavox Widescreen 1080p HD LCD TV and 8800gts

All,

I have a 8800 gts video card in my pc which usually runs a dell 20.1, does a great job running everything flawless in all rez. The question I have is I purchased a 37" Magnavox Widescreen 1080p HD LCD TV http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/n [...] atg=5883#A

I am trying to get the settings correct for both gaming and regular use, I have the tv set to 1080p>connected to the video card through HDMI. the video card sees it and after a few min I got the resolution and fonts looking great.....problem came when I clicked interlace now I cant get the settings back.

anyone have thougths?
also, anyone useing something this big for a computer monitor....I might have to admit its too big for that. Dell 28" might be taking its place.
