I'm planing on building a new computer soon I'm fairly confident I will do an overclock on the ram and processor.

The system will be:
Antec P182 case
E6750
WD Caviar RE2 500GB
ZeroTherm BTF90
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P
XFX 8800GTS 320MB
Corsair 520W PSU (is this enough)
WD 160GB IDE HDD
Samsung SATA DVD Burner
NEC IDE DVD Burner

ram is yet to be decided but it will be 4gigs of 800MhZ
These are the potential RAM canidates I I'm looking at now.

I was wondering what are same safe temperatures for the CPU?
I was looking around and it looks like I don't want it to go over 65C

I was thinking of doing 8x400 or 8x425 or maybe 8x450.
Would I be able to push the proc this high with no heat issues using the BTF90?
I was looking at reviews I know its a loud cooler thats ok. I also read it cools better than a Zalman 9500, and its more compact and not a heavy than most coolers that are better than it. I would be willing to go with a differnt cooler if I knew the weight of it and size wouldn't be a problem.

I was also wondering if I would have any heat problems with the Northbridge at 425 or 450 FSB?
How hot should the NB get?

I am confident that I can overclock with no problem even though I have never done it before, but I was a bit worried about heat.

One last thing will overclocking degrade the processor and cause it to have a shorter lifespan?

overclocking ur processor does reduce its lifespan but these things are designed to last for liek a decade, so by the time 5 years ahs passed ull have binned it and u pgraded it anyway so dont worry bout that.

Cooling, id recommend a Thermalright Ultra 120, check out this review http://www.xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/cpu-coolers/thermalright-ultra-120-extreme/
BTF90 sounds as good but it says annoying fan noise in some of the reviews which would bug me to hell.

FInally get some good ram especially if ur aiming for 450x8, corsair stuff XM2 with 4-4-4-12 timings will do you very well. Remember if ur memory is crap then ur potential overclock level will be lower.
