Hi

I just build up a new computer today and have it overclocked to 2.8 Mhz.

Using CoreTemp, I have 67 C on both core while running Prime95.
I have a Freezer 7 Pro installed on the E4300

I saw many people having way better temp using that cooler.

So i try to see the temp myself, to see if it really feels that hot. I touched the Freezer 7 Pro with my hand and it feels below warm temp.... Is that normal???

I have checked that all the pins are pushed into the motherboard....

Thanks in advance, will wake up tomorrow to check this forum...

Turn off the system and remove the heatsink. Check to see if the heatsink is seated properly on the CPU. I think it is not seated fully and that is the cause. Also make sure that you used the right anouth of thermal compound as this can cause heat problems too.

Hey

Thank you for your reply

The freezer 7 pro didnt come with a thermal paste :( Was that required?

I thought the paste is already applied on the free 7 pro...

Okay I just have ran 10 hour + stress test from prince95, temp kept contact at 67C.

NOw im gong to take out everything grrrr n check on the cooler.

I took out the Freezer 7 Pro and just put it back on in place

now i get 58 C with prime95 running

Just wondering if that is a good value? With overclocked to 2.8 GHz.

Thanks....
